Non-intrusive data-driven ROM framework for hemodynamics problems

Abstract Reduced order modeling (ROM) techniques are numerical methods that approximate the solution of parametric partial differential equation (PED) by properly combining high-fidelity solutions problem obtained for several configurations, i.e. chosen values physical/geometrical parameters characterizing problem. By starting from a database related to certain parameters, we apply proper orthogonal decomposition with interpolation (PODI) and then reconstruct variables interest new different ones included in database. Furthermore, present preliminary web application through which one can run ROM very user-friendly approach, without need having expertise analysis scientific computing field. The case study have test efficiency our algorithm is represented aortic blood flow pattern presence left ventricular (LVAD) assist device when varying pump rate.
